The Subcontractor shall submit his Outline Subcontractor Programme of Works, conforming generally to the Contractor’s Programme of Works and the requirements of the Main Contract.
Construction Subcontractor programme of work
Most standard and bespoke contracts we see include a condition requiring the subcontractor to prepare a work program. This construction schedule should be published within a certain number of days of the contract’s signing and should specify how the main contractor expects to finish the work by the completion date.
Programmes, it is important to note, are not contract documents. If they were, this could cause issues for everyone involved, but that’s a discussion for another time.
